Kado bag

in collaboration with nowhow studio

The name kado is Japanese and stands for the sharp 90 degree corners of the brushed aluminium shell which are contrasted by the soft and slouchy leather. The bag is the result of the collaboration between Nowhow Studio, a Japanese design duo, and Obscure Objects.

it combines industrial with artisanal craftsmanship, pairing a raw aluminum case with soft lamb leather from the south of france.

The outer shell is constructed from brushed aluminum, joined by exposed stainless steel nuts and bolts. A subtle wax coating protects the surface, while every leather element is hand-cut, stitched, and assembled, including the dark grey pigskin lining.

All edges and corners are carefully chamfered by hand to protect your garments from any damage. each bag is made to order in germany.
